That escalated quickly!

My girls and I went to a family bridal shower on Saturday afternoon.  Earlier this week I asked Clare what we should get the bride-to-be, Mary Kate.  Her first gift idea was a shirt.  I explained that we would get her something that she could use in her house when she got married.  Clare thought for a minute and then suggested we get her a refrigerator instead.  I told her for a bridal shower you bring a small gift, something that would fit inside a kitchen cabinet, like dishes or glasses or a blender.  Her response?

"Maybe we should just get her a robot that cleans her house for her."

Unfortunately that wasn't on the registry!

PS - Here's another take on when your non-napping 2 year-old falls asleep in the middle of the day.  He fell asleep in the car on the way home from Mass and was put on the couch.  Then I realized he was slowly starting to roll off...  This kid could sleep anywhere!
