In my child-bearing years I have worn a wide range of sizes. And I have learned not to get rid of certain clothes, especially jeans, because they will eventually fit again.
I really liked the way this particular pair of jeans fit me (especially the length), but the color was a bit dated/lacking/faded. So I bought some "denim blue" Rit dye and hoped I wouldn't regret the outcome.
And I'm happy to say the end result turned out great...perfect for spring!
These jeans now remind me of some of the bright spring/summer

ReplyDeleteLove the update...I'm a fan of dark denim! New to your blog and glad to have found your creative space on the web:D
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I'm afraid my jeans never last long enough to fade that much. Usually I wear them out.
ReplyDeleteLove it!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea! I recently died some white cotton pants red and I was so pleased with the results. So smart to take it to jeans!
ReplyDeleteThe color turned out great! I never tried blue before, but did re-dye a couple of old (perfect fitting, lol) black jeans after they had faded. The black dye also worked well, and really extended the life of the jeans. I will have to try the blue next! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I just took a pair of flares that fit really well and turned them into skinny jeans. Another great way to keep them if they fit well!
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere that a combination of the denim blue and a black package gives a nice dark wash denim look - am about to try it on a bunch of faded jeans of my own. Hope it works!
ReplyDeleteooh... that sounds promising! I want to try that!

ReplyDeleteNice post about jeans. Denim jeans are a very popular item of clothing in today's world of fashion. For many years they have been a staple item in men's and women's wardrobes across the world. From designer brands to high street stores you will find these denim style trousers almost everywhere and whatever your budget or your taste in fashion there is a pair out there that is bound to be perfect. One of my friends suggests to me a site The Regulars Inc, which has a wide and exciting range of hoodies, types of denim, and tees at an affordable price.
ReplyDeleteThere are many online cool clothing sites where you could find good-looking clothes but the quality may vary to brand to brand. If you are asking for a popular brand name which I prefer then I would recommend you to go with The Regulars Inc whose most of the clothes are echo friendly and affordable in cost.
