Learning to Tie Shoes

One of the things Clare has been working on this summer is learning to tie her own shoes.  I came across this idea on pinterest and we made our own version.

I took a sturdy piece of cardboard (a cereal box would work) and drew the shape of a shoe on it, poked 8 holes in it, and laced a shoe-string through.

We'll be ready for 1st grade in no time!

  2. This is a great idea! You don't see many shoelaces these days (it's all velcro) but it's still a skill little ones need to learn. Thanks so much for sharing at Etcetorize this week~
